I had the idea of taking pictures in a poplar wood watching a movie on television, a few years ago, but I don't remember the title of that movie.

Last spring I decided to do the job during the summer. So, I began to search a place where to take pictures. I spent a few time to find the right place because a needed a nice poplar wood quite near where I live and a bit isolated to take nude pictures with privacy. During this search I used Google Maps to scan the side of a few rivers before going there for a live inspection. When I found the right place, I organized the shooting session, but when I came to the poplar wood for taking pictures, I found something different: a part of the poplars were cut, a short period of raid made grown the green, the angle of the sun was different. Anyway, I took pictures I thought.

The model I chose for this job is Federica Fontana. I made a few shooting sessions whit her and she is able to follow my personal photographic ideas. In this case, it was difficult to describe how would be the final picture, so I needed a model that believed in my ideas. I used an instant developing film, so I shown the model in a few minutes what I needed, even if the final result (the diptych) is quite different.
