Backstage from Roberto Gandoli's fashion shooting
  This time in the diary page you find a short description of the event made straight by Roberto Gandoli, whom I thank.

"A shooting day.

The day before an outdoors shooting day I'm always nervous. I don't know how the light will be, how the model will work, how many unexpected things will happen, a so on...

Daniela, the model chosen for the shooting session, comes from Romania, she's 19 and she has a lovely body. I'm worry about which poses will plan to ask her, complaining with clothes, accessories and the location.

The location is a lovely place. I really love to look for and find out uncommon places, evocative like this one; I made two inspections, especially to check lighting conditions, before to choose the place, but this time the place was right. A waterfall, hidden by rocks and vegetation, and a small lake distinguishes the location.

This time Alessandro will come with me to take some black and white pictures of backstage activities. The day chosen for shooting it's a sunny day. When we arrived on the place, a few clouds started to appear and disappear, complicating the job.

The scope of the shooting session was to create different pictures of Daniela. I explained in advance to Elena, the make up artist, that I'd like to start with a natural and romantic make up, working during the session to become stronger and more aggressive. Daniela, at the end, should looks like a warrior. The shooting day takes all the daylong: working on, the tension ended and started the usual understanding.

The result? Here you find a few pictures and you can estimate by yourself. I want to thank all the people who worked with me: Alessandro Tintori for backstage shootings, Daniela, the model, Elena Pivetta, very professional, for make up and hairdressing, And Attilio Bottura, my assistant.
